Our Mental Health and Wellness program runs from September to December, coinciding with Mental Health Awareness Month in October and extending through the winter months.
With bi-weekly workshops over a 6-week period, we address the challenges of the new school year and seasonal transitions, providing a safe space for open discussions on mental health topics such as depression, anxiety, and coping mechanisms. Our goal is to remove stigma by fostering dialogue and offering practical support through workshops facilitated by health professionals. Participants are encouraged to set and monitor their own health goals, with access to affordable and culturally relevant mental health services if needed, ensuring a supportive environment for their journey towards mental well-being.
